How it all began
Manhattan 2013 —
Inga and Andy met in Manhattan in May 2013. She was in town for a work trip and met up with Steve and his friends after a night out. One of those friends was Andy. The first night they met, Inga couldn’t think about anything other than her soondubu. But Andy kept showing up to Steve’s hangouts the rest of that week.
On Thursday, after another late night out, Inga stopped Steve in the elevator to ask for Andy’s number. It turns out Andy had also asked Steve for Inga’s number.
Before she left Manhattan, Inga and Andy finally went out to dinner just the two of them. They kept talking for hours, first, over paella, then some drinks, and finally Ktown (all roads lead to Ktown).
The next day, Inga delayed her flight back to spend a couple extra hours with Andy.
And the rest is history
Over the last eight years, we have become best friends and true loves. We made a long distance relationship work quite well, explored the world together, and moved across the country together three times. We love the same things, like eating and trying out new hobbies, while our opposite natures keep things interesting. We are ready to make official what we knew already for a long time — partners for life!
